Positive Thinking

Positive Thinking

How to remain positive

Remaining positive is not always an easy task. For some, it is very hard indeed. In some situations it is hard to see how anything positive can come out of them.

So how do we remain positive, even in difficult situations?

By taking a different approach than we may have come across before. Same old methods produce same old results.

1) We need to accept that life can be tough and that as with life’s obvious laws such as gravity, there are other laws that we need to operate in harmony with. We may not know about them, or perhaps only be slightly aware; however they will still affect us.

2) We need to have an openness to learning truth and not want to hang onto thoughts or ways of doing things that hinder us.

3) A key life truth (law) in this instance is that life will affect us according to our thoughts (whether we believe it or not).

4) So when we have the urge to think negatively; the blunt truth is that doing so will make things worse. Guaranteed. Period.

5) The ONLY choice we have then is to look for a positive angle. The ONLY choice that is worthwhile.

6) Life is good. Life is great. Life is also tough. And shit happens.

7) Our CHOICE then is to to find a positive. Otherwise life WILL get tougher.

8) As this is a basic law of life, why bother to try and buck the system – go with the FLOW of life; not against it.

9) This article is only touching the surface of positive thinking and is quite simplified, however I hope you find it helpful in pointing yourself in the right direction. I will write more on the subject in due course.
