Interesting to read who is jacking the price up here!

My father needs top of the range hearing aids. He was quoted $10,000 here in Oz for two Oticons. His health insurer will cover about $800. In the US and UK they are over half the price.

The question then came to the warranty. Solved. Oticon have a two year international warranty.

http://www.naturalhearing.co.uk offers these aids for $4500 which includes delivery and programming to Dad’s level of hearing. We just need to send his audiogram over. If he needs to have further adjustment the local audi charges just $55 a session to do this. Although you can buy the little adjustment device online and do it yourself!
