One of the especially interesting aspects of the Internet is that of Social Media (Wikipedia).

As a sales trainer I often come across people who claim that they have never done any selling before. When I explain that they have had years of selling experience, for example; when they sold their mother on their need for an extra chocolate bar, they usually realise that they need to readjust the way they are thinking and conceptualising.

I have come across a way in which anyone can get involved in the sales process and get paid. This is yet another example of how the Internet, and Social Media in particular, is going to change the way that we do things. Many of these dramatic changes are in the very early stages present, being only known and used by the early adopters. We would be wise to take note of what is going on, ensure that we keep up-to-date and embrace change – if we don’t, we will be left behind.
