Great place to get Swatch watches.
I have always liked the Swatch brand of watches. Sensibly priced, robust and water resistant, with lots of fantastic designs to choose from. Some good choices for presents, personal use, fashionistas and individualists.
One of the problems I have had is obtaining one I liked locally here on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Despite being somewhat of a shopping magnet, the Gold Coast stores I looked in had a limited range of Swatches. Most were duplicated from store to store.
Being a big fan of shopping online I turned to the internet. (Nowadays I tend to look on the internet first). I found Squiggly. Squiggly are an an official Swatch dealer and offer Swatch, Swatch Bijoux and Flik Flak. They sell the latest collections, but are renowned for their collection of older models. Squiggly also have a huge stock of Swatch straps, Swatch accessories and other related items.
Having browsed their range I selected the Ponentino – a stylish fun watch design with cats on it in a Rome setting. The watch was a 1997 design for a 1998 collection.
The price was reasonable – watch EUR 46.22. With shipping, the total cost was EUR 54.52 – Around AUD$100 in all.
My watch arrived safely, and promptly (it was in stock).
I would definitely order from Squiggly again.

In summary, I enjoyed dealing with people who are clearly knowledgeable specialist experts in their field, and who gave me such a huge choice, coupled with great service at a reasonable price. Swatches make ideal presents for people, so if you want something a bit different than you will find in the shops, and which is of specific relevance to your gift recipient, then you have come to the right place at Squiggly. Perhaps you are a fashionista with a desire for something special to complement your outfit. Or maybe an individualist like me.
Note: This situation is a classic example of how an internet store can provide a vastly superior service to an ordinary bricks and mortar establishment. Consumers enjoy choice, availability and quality service, combined with no travel or parking hassle and associated costs.
