What is it?
Many people are still getting to grips with the internet and all it has to offer. The mobile web is part of that, but one which a lot of people are unaware of.
Simply speaking the mobile web refers to accessing the internet using cell phones, mobile phones and PDAs. You can find out more here at the Wikipedia mobile web entry.
As you will see from the wikipedia entry, there are interoperability and usability problems with the mobile web which are partly due to the small size of the screens on which it is viewed. That said, it is becoming an increasingly popular medium and special websites with the .mobi suffix are becoming more common.
